Spring in the milk carton

Although today's looks at us do not like spring, but the sun will probably come back soon - I'm an optimist ;-) And then there is just something out there instead of spring!

Since I'm on 30 March, a workshop was announced in packaging (-> dates), I would like today to show you a small example, may look like something. It is the famous milk carton, which I took as a basic pattern and pimped. The guide can be found HERE . Glued

I have almost everything Crystal Effects - I'm thrilled how well it works!! Whether paper, ribbon, buttons - everything was smooth-dry and it keeps twitching!

have to now I only used the gloss and 3D effect of it - now is the Crystal definitely one of my favorite materials ;-)

VIP Thursday # 9 / 11 - Pull Out Book

I now again - late as usual on Thursday ;-) but then you have * in the evening something new to watch gg *.
And this time I even have a proper apology: Last night I cut in the right thumb - once tried to tinker and retain small loops with a nasty cut and a thick patch - today's is even better again ;-)

Our weekly project-this is a small "pull-out book that can be accommodated in the least up to 14 photos! Or poems, ideas, favorite recipes, addresses, and so on. The instructions are
it as always with us FREE and HERE - but since I have changed the dimensions and the processing of some, you find the information for my book next to the photos!

I have changed the basic dimensions: instead of gray cardboard I used as a cover two normal beer mat (9.5 x 9.5 cm), so the book is somewhat smaller. And I have the papers for the outside had not rounded at the corners, but in each Round 1 cm can survive. At the corners I have the paper into very narrow strips cut, so that when I was flipping and obtain a nice rounding. Unlike in the template so my book is based extensively as a "real" book and you can see at the edges no gray cardboard!

before I am now hard at the VIP project to make tomorrow ;-), there is a quick little suggestion. As you know, designer papers come first my passion - and if the right is not level because it is dependent stamped itself!

today I do not know where to begin I - So pretty in turn ;-)

Saturday was the big kick-off meeting of Stampin 'Up! in Frankfurt. Over 200 demos were arrived this year: It was pretty full, the noise level and the temperatures were high, movement, and the probability of all my friends and those who do should be to strike, rather low * gg *.
Nevertheless, it has but huge fun: My dear upline Anke and the girls on Thursdays-VIP were there and were sitting near me, Doris , Beatrix and Melanie with whom I last fall, a wonderful have "time" spent, as I looked forward to a reunion. Many good conversation, lots of new contacts - but far too little time for breaks ranged as straight to the snack-food, coffee drinks, fresh-air-snapping, exchange swaps and broadcast.

The highlight of course, was the demo page of "Miss Jenny " launched and perfectly organized Candy card exchange! (Many, many thanks for the super-action, dear Jenny!) The idea was on a 6 "x6" page, each with a stamp set small embellishments, tags, stickers, etc. to create, which you then use as a further stimulus can be. We were divided into groups of 8, so that it could then go with 7 beautifully designed home pages. Or even more, because some were equally represented in different groups!

This was my contribution, gewerkelt to the set "Ornate Flowers" and the matching great designer paper "Greenhouse Gala" (Note - you can find just the " stamp fever " by SU on Sale!!)

And these are all the wonderful "little things" that I got - but I had not made any other swap cards left, so there is nothing to admire Single!

We smell can already see all the new stuff and even to potter about - you can watch a 31-page full of really great news looking forward, currently based on the trends in stamping and scrapbooking, versatile, with many, many details of the new product lines - oh, I'm remains from the swarms do not get out ;-)
